Welcome Nu-Rise

Founded by Luís Moutinho and Joana Melo, Nu-Rise is a health tech startup from Aveiro that wants to lead the next generation of radiotherapy. The company has developed an ultra-sensitive, high-resolution photonic solution that allows to monitor the effectiveness of treatments in real time and apply truly accurate, autonomous and adaptive radiotherapy, protecting patients from unnecessary radiation doses.

With an investment of 1.5 million euros in one of the most promising startups with solutions for cancer treatment, GED Ventures Portugal adds another investment to the GED Tech Seed Fund portfolio and reinforces its commitment to invest in technology for a purpose.
