João Santisso Gonçalves Investment & Portfolio Early on during his studies, João revealed interest in both financial analysis and entrepreneurship and the start-up ecosystem. During his undergraduate program, in the summer of 2020, he joined Fábrica de Startups, a business accelerator that aims to create new start-ups in Portugal. Throughout this period, he was responsible for a project in partnership with GALP, with the goal of analyzing new potential innovative products to be integrated into the company’s portfolio. He later began his Double-degree Master’s program in Finance and Management. During this period, he was also part of BNP Paribas as a Market Analyst, dedicating himself to the areas of analysis of financial instruments and automation of data analysis. After completing his Master’s degree, he now joins the Investment Team of GED Ventures Portugal as an analyst, supporting the entire investment process, from sourcing of opportunities, analysis and portfolio monitoring. DID YOU KNOW? From an early age, João showed interest in various types of sports, having already been federated in athletics, now dedicates himself mainly to kitesurfing. On rainier days, you will probably find João playing chess, a training that feeds the healthy rivalry with other members of the team also lovers of the game.
