With a diversified and international background, João decided from an early age to dedicate himself to the analysis of financial investments.
He began his professional career at the financial group BDK Financial Group, where he developed commercial and investment banking knowledge, focusing on the UEMOA region in Africa.
As of 2020, he dedicated himself to the alternative investment sector, emphasizing the real estate and private debt sectors. First, at Bondstone, a private equity investment and asset management company in real assets, and later at Norfin, an asset manager and real estate investment funds with an AUM above €1.5b, João dedicated himself to the areas of origination, financial analysis and modeling of investment opportunities.
In 2022, he accepts the challenge of joining GED Ventures Portugal as an Associate. He is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, negotiating, and monitoring the portfolio.

Besides being interested in political-economic affairs, João was district chess champion twice in Portugal.
