Francisco Marín Pérez


Francisco, better known as Paco, has more than 40 years of total dedication to Research and Development activities.

Francisco describes his professional life as “a varied palette of activities,” he not only founded ELIOT, today a large international company, but also developed hardware and software design in electronic equipment and held responsible positions in the management of medium and large international companies.

From 2015 to 2018, Francisco was Director-General CDTI – Center for Industrial Technological Development, the Spanish Innovation Agency of the Ministry of Economic, Industry, and Competitiveness responsible for financing Spanish business innovation and internationalization. In addition, between 2019 and 2020, he chaired the Futureplus Capital Investment Manager, dedicated to investing in Deep-tech companies headquartered in the Iberian Peninsula.

Since 2020, Francisco has collaborated with the GED group as Senior Advisor and Partner of the CONEXO fund, and in 2021 became Partner and member of the Board of Directors of GED Ventures Portugal.



In 2021, it received from the hands of the Kings of Spain Felipe VI and Letizia the National Innovation Award – Innovative Trajectory, granted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
