António has a degree in Economics from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management. The beginning of his professional career was marked by his experience at EY (Ernst & Young) in auditing, where he acquired a solid foundation in accounting, financial reporting standards and corporate finance and governance.
While working at EY, he decided to further invest in his education and obtained a Master's degree in Financial Analysis from ISCAL - Lisbon Accounting and Business School.
In late 2023, he joined GED Ventures Portugal, assuming the position of Finance and Investor Relations.

Outside the professional environment, he is an experienced surfer who has won several surfing competitions. Travelling the world in search of the best waves is one of his passions. Before starting his professional career, he worked as a surf instructor in the Algarve during the summer vacations.
